Rozemarijn Vliegenthart

Rozemarijn Vliegenthart (MD, PhD, EBCR, FNASCI, FICIS) is Radiologist and Professor of Cardiothoracic Imaging at the University Medical Center Groningen, The Netherlands. Her clinical and research interests focus on early detection of cardiothoracic diseases, in particular cardiovascular disease, lung cancer and COPD. Vliegenthart has obtained a number of grants in cardiothoracic imaging as applicant or co-investigator. She is PI of ImaLife, CONCRETE, and B3Care. Vliegenthart is (co-)author of 235 papers (H index 44), and is Associate Editor of the European Journal of Radiology and the Journal of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography. Vliegenthart is Vice Presidenf of the ESCR. She has held invited lectures at numerous international conferences including SCCT, RSNA, and ECR.
